Wim joined OCAS Ventures as Investment Manager in 2010.

Wim has 10 years of experience in corporate & business development, marketing and consulting. He obtained a Master Degree in Business Engineering at the University of Hasselt and a Master of Business Administration at the European Business and Management School of Antwerp

Prior to joining OCAS Ventures, he was Global Market Manager Photovoltaic at Henkel Electronic Materials.

Before that Wim was Global Marketing Manager Radcure at Cytec in Brussels. In this role he was responsible to develop the market-entry strategy for the Radcure technology into the metal and coil industry.

Following the acquisition of UCB Surface Specialties by Cytec he was Business Development Manager Radcure Asia. A key responsibility was to identify, develop and implement a winning strategy for the up to then untapped Graphics market segment.

A major move in his career took place when he was selected as a Prince Albert Fund laureate. Wim took the opportunity to move to Shanghai, China to work for UCB Surface Specialties as Corporate & Business Development Manager for Asia. He lead and coordinated all M&A projects, cross-BU initiatives and mapped the competitive landscape in Asia for the different BUs.

Wim started his career at Sx Consultants, later acquired by Econocom, as management consultant where he participated in and lead projects in the area of IT Service Management.
